CSA International, a leading provider of product testing and certification services, has granted approval for Chomerics to participate in the International Agent Program-Data Acceptance (APD). This new program allows Chomerics to test laboratory instrumentation and medical equipment for CSA International Certification at its Woburn, Massachusetts laboratory. Test data is accepted without routine tests being witnessed by CSA International staff. CSA staff may elect to witness new or unique tests. This enables Chomerics Test Services to provide manufacturers of medical devices (CSA/UL 60601 Series) and laboratory instrumentation (CSA/UL 61010 Series) with required safety and certification testing, enabling compliant products to go to market in Canada and the U.S.
