Elite Shielded Windows
WIN-SHIELD™
Elite EMI shielded windows offer a 12% improvement in light
transmission compared with conventional laminated EMI shielding
windows. Their proprietary mesh system provides improved optical
performance, including the elimination of text distortion
on CRT displays, commonly referred to as the 'moiré' effect.
A minimum of 55 dB of shielding effectiveness is provided
at 1 GHz. These properties make WIN-SHIELD Elite windows an
excellent shielding solution for displays on industrial, medical,
and other electronic devices. Standard WIN-SHIELD Elite windows
are made from two layers of polycarbonate laminated around
a central layer of blackened copper mesh.
