CHO-STRAP®
Insulated Ground Straps
CHO-STRAP®
grounding straps are flexible, double-insulated laminates
of copper (inside) and polyester film (outside), with punched
and tinned ends to facilitate termination. They provide low
impedance ground paths at RF frequencies, thereby reducing
radiated EMI problems caused by ordinary wire grounds. CHO-STRAP
ground straps are recommended wherever board-to-chassis or
chassis-to-cabinet grounding is required. They pass all requirements
of UL specification 94V-0. Standard construction is tinned
copper laminated on both sides to DuPont Mylar with a flame-retardant
adhesive. Ends are punched for #10 screws.
