First true conductive plastic capable of high performance shielding

Specifically developed for high performance EMI shielding and grounding applications, PREMIER™ shields afford weight, cost and space savings as well as greater design freedom compared to metal cans and existing shielded plastic housings, avoiding additional processing steps such as plating, painting or vacuum coating.

PREMIER™ consists of evenly dispersed randomly orientated long fibres of Ni/C into a PC/ABS resin. This formulation combines the high emi shiedlding performance (85+ db) of the Ni/C fibers with the stable electrical and mechanical properties of the resin.

PREMIER™ thermoplactic is available in 4 PC/ABS based families to meet design temperature and mechanical property requirements. Each family offers 3 standard material grades based on the level of Ni/C filler, which allows a cost effective match of the desired amount of EMI shielding with the lowest possible material cost.
