VIP®
(Viscous Impingement) Shielded Air Filters
Chomerics'
VIP® air filters are all metal EMI shielded panels used at
the air intake on shielded enclosures that require low-velocity
cooling air. Their filtering medium is multi-layer, expanded
aluminum, which can be coated with viscous oil for dust impingement.
VIP filters provide maximum dust arrestance with easy removal
and reinstallation. To withstand severe environments, all
VIP panel elements are chromate conversion coated aluminum.
Customer-specified sizes can range from 2 inch x 4 inch to
30 inch x 48 inch, (50 x 100 mm to 762 x 1220 mm).
