and Film Engineered Laminates
Chomerics'
specialty laminates act as EMI shields, ground planes, ground
straps, shadow shields, ESD shields and serve many other applications.
Shielding laminates are made from metal foils, dielectric
films and pressure-sensitive adhesives. Flame retardant constructions
are available to meet UL 94V-0 requirements. The foil layer
provides EMI shielding, while the film layer provides electrical
isolation and flexibility. Laminates provide an environmentally
friendly solution that eliminates solvents, conductive paints,
or plating processes.
